Hi Folks,
I suspect my post belongs not in the General forum, but it is all I can find.
I have a Windows Server 2008r2 and I am using it for, among other things, a Remote Desktop Gateway and it works very well when the RD session is established with the native Remote Desktop Connection client. It is SUPPOSED to also work with http:///RDWeb and it does not. This is a IIS7 configuration problem and I have no idea how to go about solving it. If I get nothing more from this post than an acceptable way to enable logs and review them for exceptions, then I will be happy, but, of course, an explanation of the misconfiguration would really make me happy.
I get slightly different failures, depending on the request
1) https:///RDWeb fails with "Remote Desktop can't find ..."
2) https:///RDWeb fails with "Remote desktop can't connect for these possible reasons..."
This looks suspiciously to me like TWO problems -- one with DNS and one with subnet addressing?
What do I need to start diagnosing this?
Thanks for the help,
Chris
