Windows 2008 Server R2 - but with IIS7.0 *not* IIS7.5

Hi all,

Can anyone advise whether it is possible to effectively downgrade the installed version off IIS on Windows 2008 Server R2.

We have a handful of legacy FrontPage websites that we host and are not in a position to upgrade them to anything else, or change the way in which the users publish their content, as such, our new server needs to still support FPSE.  Having checked it seems that it is still possible to get this, but its now in the hands of R2R (Ready-To-Run) and they offer two flavours.  One for IIS7 (free), and one for IIS7.5 (not so free, with a headache of a licensing/costing agreement)...  so, I'd prefer to just install the FPSE2002 free version but to do so looks like I'd need to be able to downgrade the version of IIS... Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Regards

Rob Meade
